Partnership visit to Temasek Polytechnic’s two Centres of Excellence

The start of the year was marked by a fruitful visit to Temasek Polytechnic (TP) on 3rd January 2023 to discuss and explore potential areas of collaboration as well as a visit to the campus’ two Centres of Excellence.

The discussion was led by SIP’s Board of Directors, Mr Khong and Peishan Wong, together with Tech for Good core team member, Alina Chia. The team shared about SIP’s journey over the past 16 years, exchanged insights about the Tech for Good Global Alliance platform that is currently being incubated under SIP, and explored synergies in the research and innovation front.

The team aims to supplement SIP’s local vision with global insights from our Tech for Good Global Alliance platform. We recognise that great projects cannot be done in silos. As such, we continue to proactively seek private, public and government support to forge a meaningful collaboration together, both locally and globally.

The SIP team is grateful for TP’s hospitality in providing us a tour to visit its two centres of excellence: Makers Space+ and the Aquaculture Innovation Centre/Centre for Urban Sustainability/Healthcare Engineering Centre. Highlights of the trip can be viewed on our TikTok reel here.
