In the four years since Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong announced Singapore’s Smart Nation plan, the city has placed considerable resources into making this a reality. In this one-hour special commissioned for National Day 2018, Channel NewsAsia explores what the Smart Nation initiative means to the people whose ideas and ideals pave the way for Singapore’s smart future.

SIP’s Founder, Ms Penny Low, was invited to share her thoughts and hopes for how innovation and technology have and can change the way human beings live, work, play and communicate, for the better. The CNA crew came specially to SIP to film her snippets, with our SEED Visitor Centre as the backdrop.
