Eco-Carnival @ Punggol 21CC
An Eco-Carnival, organized by Punggol 21CC, was held on 3rd November 2018. Unlike any other carnival with just yummy foods, exciting goodie bags, and thrilling magic shows, this Eco-Carnival was packed with meaningful educational activities about reducing waste, mindful consumption, innovative recycling methods, and sustainable living.
It was a privilege for SIP to have a booth to educate young children about nature through games that were created by upcycled products and organic materials from SEED farms. The circuit game board was made with cardboard, recycled papers, and aluminum foils; whereas the paints were made with butterfly pea and beetroot! The children were free to paint and create prints from a range of textured surfaces of natural leaves, twigs, and fruits. Boy, they simply loved it! Seeing how thrilled the children were in having the freedom to learn through play, truly warmed our hearts. Go ahead and catch a glimpse of those sunny smiles by sliding the photo gallery below.
In conjunction with our new LEAD with Nature Programme, this is only a teeny weeny bit of teaser to perk up your curiosity and tingle up your excitement! So do check out what’s brewing!
