15th ASEAN Leadership Forum

The ASEAN Leadership Forum is widely recognized as a high-powered Forum that brings together Government, Business, Civil Society and Thought Leaders for a critical discussion of the strategic issues facing ASEAN and to share valuable knowledge and information on the future of ASEAN. The 15th ASEAN Leadership Forum will be held in Singapore this year, as Singapore takes the ASEAN chairmanship, with the theme of “Strengthening Resilience, Promoting Innovation”. 

This year, SIP is incorporating our flagship GSIF (Global Social Innovators Forum) into the ASEAN Leadership Forum, presenting one of its key tracks “Innovation that Matters: How Innovation Can Transform Societies, Businesses and Social Enterprises” with a panel of esteemed speakers, including Mr Laurence Lien, Chairman, Lien Foundation, Mr Xu Ning Ning, Executive President of China-ASEAN Business Council and H.E. Jane Duke, Australian Ambassador to ASEAN, amongst others. The panel will be moderated by SIP Founder, Ms Penny Low.

 

The ASEAN Leadership Forum brings together Government, Business, Civil Society and Thought Leaders for a critical discussion of the strategic issues facing ASEAN and to share valuable knowledge and information on the future of ASEAN. Other key tracks of the programme include:

About ASEAN Leadership Forum

The ASEAN Leadership Forum is widely recognized as a high-powered Forum that brings together Government, Business, Civil Society and Thought Leaders for a critical discussion of the strategic issues facing ASEAN and to share valuable knowledge and information on the future of ASEAN.

The Forum has been institutionalized as a leading annual event held alongside the ASEAN Summit each year. It has been attended by and addressed by Leaders of ASEAN such as President Thein Sein of Myanmar, Prime Minister YAB Dato’ Sri Najib bin Tun Abdul Razak of Malaysia, then President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, then Prime Minister of Thailand Abhisit Vejjajiva among others.

The 15th ASEAN Leadership Forum is co-organized by SIP, the Asian Strategy & Leadership Institute (ASLI), S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS) and ASEAN Business Advisory Council.

Payment must be made in advance of the event. Payment terms are five days. The organizers reserve the right to stop any registered delegate from taking part in the event if no ticket or proof of payment can be presented.

Provided the total fee has been paid, substitutions at no extra charge up to 5 days before the event is allowed. Non-payment or non-attendance does not constitute cancellation.
